• We recommend you select one that is WIAPS approved (Water Industry Approved Plumbing Scheme). You can find one in the Yellow Pages or by using on the Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme website.
• You can also get advice from the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering and search for a local plumber on their website
• Alternatively, as a domestic customers you can choose to call HomeServe on 0800 247 999 for a free no obligation quote. We work in partnership with the HomeServe Plumbing Service. HomeServe will undertake plumbing work including all uncontrollable plumbing and drainage emergencies, blocked or leaking drains, internal leaks, dripping taps and leaking overflows.

Stop! Before you contact a plumber have you checked your existing home/building contents insurance to see if you are covered for internal plumbing and/or water supply pipe repairs. If you’re covered or you’re unsure contact your insurer before doing anything else.
